Celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday with us!

Since 1983, Americans have observed Sanctity of Human Life Sunday as a day to celebrate the intrinsic value of all human life. Twenty-seven years ago, Care Net asked President Ronald Reagan to create a special day to focus on the intrinsic value of human life and the very fundamental right to life, as recognized by the American founding fathers. In 1983, President Reagan issued a proclamation establishing that day. This year, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is January 23, the closet Sunday to the day which Roe vs. Wade was handed down by the US Supreme Court (January 22, 1973).

Baby Bottle Boomerang 2010

Baby Bottle Boomerang has come to an end for this summer. We had the most churches ever participate: 43 compared to 31 last year; 6400 bottles went out, the largest ever. There is still time to turn in your bottle if you haven’t! Thank you to every church and business that participated and for everyone who put change or checks in the bottles. God Bless You!

Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser for Sav-A-Life, Mobile

For the entire month of July, on Sundays and Mondays, visitors to Buffalo Wild Wings were able to present a voucher at check out. Buffalo Wild Wings donated 20% of (pre-tax) food sales to Sav-A-Life, Mobile. It was the Buffalo Wild Wings is located on Airport Blvd. in West Mobile near Hillcrest Road in Piccadilly Square. Thank you to all those who participated and thank you Buffalo Wild Wings!

Dedication of New Medical Center

On the 31st of January, 12 or more area pastors, mission directors, and over 200 faithful supporters of Life gathered to dedicate the new medical facility.

Located at 718 Downtowner Loop West, this beautiful building is opposite the last remaining abortion clinic in Mobile.

The dedication started with a tour of the newly renovated facilities then everyone gathered outside where there was praise and worship music and a verbal dedication.

The ministry board members took the 5 stakes labeled Truth, Salvation, Love, Purity, Healing and Hope and placed them in the 4 corners and the center of the property. The pastors and groups of people gathered in each spot and prayed. it was an awesome day.

Remember to pray that every woman who starts out seeking an abortion will look across the street and be drawn to the clinic. This is probably the greatest opportunity we have had in the past decade to be so visibly a Center for Choice.

2010 Spring Gala/Annual Fundraiser

The 2010 Spring Gala/Annual Fundraiser was March 11, 2010 at the Riverview Plaza Hotel, downtown Mobile, AL.

The theme this year was “Sav-A-Life~~Save A Generation, Making Your Descendants As Numerous as the Stars in the Sky-Genesis 22:17”.

This year we are celebrating Adoption! The event started at 6pm with The Silent Auction and dinner began at 6:30.

The music was Voices of Mobile from the University of Mobile, directed by Dr. AL Miller. The 14 students did an awesome job bringing joy to our event.

Dinner music was Lee Threadgill on classical guitar and other music was Bradley Threadgill playing "Amazing Grace" on trumpet.

The guest speaker was Comedian/Missionary, Mike Williams from the Dominican Republic.

We had about 640 in attendance.
